Terms & Conditions
Version 1.0 · Last updated 26 June 2026
Risk disclaimer
XDC AI is experimental, custodial software provided "as is", with no warranty. Your wallet's keys are held server-side. Only fund it with amounts you can afford to lose - a bug, operator error, or a compromise could result in loss of funds. Payments in USDC are on-chain and generally irreversible. This is not financial advice.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, logging in through the CLI or the MCP connector, or otherwise using XDC AI (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the risk disclaimer below. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The CLI requires you to explicitly accept these terms before a login completes.
2. What the Service is
XDC AI lets software agents pay for x402-protected APIs in USDC on the XDC network. It provides a custodial wallet, a marketplace of services, and tooling (CLI, MCP server, SKILL). It is early-stage, experimental software and may change, break, or be discontinued at any time.
3. Custodial wallet and key custody
Your wallet is custodial. The private keys are derived and held server-side, not by you. This means you are trusting the operator to secure those keys and the underlying seed. You should only fund the wallet with amounts you can afford to lose. Loss, theft, or compromise of the server seed, a bug, or operator error could result in the partial or total loss of funds. Do not store significant value in the wallet.
4. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any payment, settlement, or third-party API will succeed.
5. Your responsibilities and acceptable use
You are responsible for how your agents and credentials are used, including all activity and payments under your account. You agree not to use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes, to pay for prohibited goods or services, to launder funds, to evade sanctions, or to violate the terms of any third-party API you call through the Service. You are responsible for your own tax and regulatory compliance.
6. Payments and third-party services
Payments settle on-chain in USDC and are generally irreversible. Prices are set by third-party providers and shown per call; you are responsible for confirming the price before paying. The marketplace lists third-party services we do not control and do not endorse; your use of any provider's API is between you and that provider.
7. Not financial or legal advice
Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Digital assets are volatile and risky. Any funding feature involving lending, borrowing, or collateral (where offered) carries additional risk, including liquidation. You make your own decisions.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of funds, profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. The Service is offered free of charge for the software itself; you use it at your own risk.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes are reflected by a new version number. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms; the CLI may ask you to accept again when the version changes.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms can be raised on the project's GitHub repository.
These terms are a plain-language summary for an early-stage project and are not a substitute for professional legal advice. By running xdcai login you confirm you have read and accepted them (version 1.0).
